Are there many fans of the Kooks on here?

There such a fantastic band and i really want to go to oxegen to see them!

Im hoping for a ticket at face value but i think i'll have to bite the bullet
and fork out those 260 bucks!

In my opinion there going to be the best band to go to see at oxegen!

Cant wait and after getting hooked on the Kooks im now going to have to go!

Nice catchy songs that girls like. It's fairly hard to have a problem with that in my opinion.

despite them seeming to be one of the most hated bands in indiedom lately I like them

Luke really should shut his mouth in interviews though

I think they are a great band! Must get their new album. Havn't been able to stop listening to Naive since it was brought out!

I went for amazing (realise that that is an overstatement now on editing), not one of favourites but I do like them

Meh. Haven't heard anything special from them that suggests to me that they'll be around for more than 2-3 years.

    ^Same, I voted bad.

How many of these bands have realeased a decent 2nd album? That is the litmus test. Will the Kooks have longitivity.......per say......ergo.....dunno!

I voted good, not great, not bad but good. That seaside song is terrible but the rest of the album seems to be strong.

I say good but I agree that they probably wont be around for long. I saw them in te village not so long ago and I thought they were actually pretty weak live.

"That seaside song is terrible" - That one is my favourite.

Hi mate did you get sorted with a ticket/tickets yet?
I have 3 tickets left but not prepared to let them go for face value as the reason I bought them was to make a few quid..

Dont think they were expecting such a muppet to interview them, he wasnt even funny, the stage school thing was funny alright though because of their reaction, couldnt take the slaging on the chin maybe their a bit naive (lol) :D with interviews

I give them a Meh vote to be honest. Their decent enough in that they're better than most of the ****e that comes out nowadays but I'm hard to impress, if truth be told. If they can take what they've done so far and build on it then I'll be impressed.

That muppet from Popworld needs a serious hiding, he is so self indulgent, I'd say most bands thinks he's a twat.

The Kooks, they're ok, the sound a bit like what was around in 1996, Dodgy, Cast and the Bluetones.

Naive is a class song though.

"She moves in her own way", thats my favourite song that they sing. Tbh I have never heard of them before. I only heard the song through a mate playing it in his house. But yeah I think they are good.

I said amazing but that was a bit of an over statement but good is a bit of an understatement, so inbetween!

Happy, poppy, inoffensive, bland even. That's a big fat meh from me.
