A strange one but I have a spare canine. It began to develop(above my other teeth) when I was about thirteen and I never took much notice but because of the way it came in part of it is hard to clean and has begun to decay. How unusual is this and is it worth the fuss to get it removed as it really doesn't affect my other teeth.

I'd heard them called 'wolf teeth'. Go see a dentist and discuss your options.

I went to a dentist when they it started to come in and they said that it was no harm but that my regular dentist should have spotted it and removed it. Hasn't bothered me really, it's pretty much a big fang, handy for opening cans I suppose;)
