    Hi Folks,

Might seem like a dumb question but here goes.......

Can anybody tell me will my Permanent TSB ATM card work in Barcelona just like it does here? Withdraw cash from any atm machine no bother?

    Cheers!

Your card might have a cirrus, plus or link logo on the back, if it has any of those it should work fine but beware of the charges.

i don't think standard tsb atm cards work abroad. my mate is on tsb and he had to get a cirrus card

Check with PTSB. A lot of their cards don't work abroad in the same way the AIB/BOI's do.

Link doesn't work in most places from what I was told down in Ulster Bank. Plus would be more popular and I think Cirrus or Maestro is the most common then ?

Link is a UK only system.

Visa/Plus and Mastercard/Maestro will be found pretty much everywhere. Albeit just one or other and sometimes both.
