    Apologies if it scared anyone......... :D:D:D:D !!!

    @ Evilhomer, it was taken with a Canon A80 with a 50mm Minolta SLR lens reverse mounted on an adapter tube!

    @ Fionn, Yeah I spotted it's lunch after I took the photo.

    I found him lurking under a rock as I was cleaning up around the pond. Just scooped him up and sat him on the wheelie bin.

    That's really good. Did it sit still for you? I've tried it myself but it's impossible to get insects to stop moving around

    That's the strange thing, it was really placid. When I put him on the bin, he just sat there! The lens was only a few cm's away from it but it didn't seem to mind! When I had taken the pics, I put it back into the flowerbed. So it out there somewhere terrorising the aphids!!!
