This just came into my mail box. Thought it might interest you guys!

    DeV.

All In™ Poker is running a freeroll satellite this Sunday (25th June) to next Thursday's (29th June) €250 + €20 tournament in the Fitzwilliam Card Club in Dublin. The €250 tourney is one of the best in the country and consistently attracts big name players and a significant prize pool. The All In™ Poker freeroll closely matches the structure of the famous Thursday night freeroll in the Fitz. We cannot supply you with sandwiches, but the craic will be mighty!

Tournament Details: Free Entry Satellite to the Fitzwilliam Card Club €250+€20 live tournament on Thursday 29th June in Dublin. 1 seat guaranteed by All In™ Poker. 1,000 starting chips. Unlimited re-buys ($12.60/€10) for 90 minutes plus1 add-on ($12.60/€10) at 90 minutes. 1,000 chips for re-buys and add-on.. 1 extra seat for every €270 ($340) in re-buys and add-ons. 3 minute break every 60 minutes.

Bounty Bonus: knock our resident pro Peter Roche and we’ll give you $50. He’ll be playing under “pwwofgang1”.

When? Sunday 25th June at 22:00 GMT. Registration opens at 19:45 hours (so you don’t miss the football).

What game? The game is Texas Hold'em No-Limit.

Where? In the Multi-Table Tournament Lobby under Freeroll.

Sounds good i hope to make that.
Would all-in be interested in doing a regular online monthly satellite to the eom fitz E250 similar to the GJP sattelite on ppp?.

edit. The freeroll structure is the only bad thing i can see about it. I hope its not any less that 8min blinds?

very long rebuy period, and I don't like that. I may play this if I am in on Sunday night, because as things currently stand I am likely to not play the EOM game for the first time in about a year.

Do you have to register your all in name with the fitz or anything like that to enter?

Yes we would. We would like to run regular satellites to the Fitz and other clubs around the country. Depends on the success of the Fitz run - a good turn out means more satellites. Email me on pokermanager@allinpoker.com with any suggestions. PJB

This is the first run - we are trying to transpose the regular Thursday night freeroll onto All In. It is difficult to know exactly what the rebuy period should be. We'll test it and see. Key here is that we have a fun tournament and that friends meet online. Send us your comments and we'll tune it for you. Pokermanager@allinpoker.com.

No. Just logon to All In Poker and you can play. Open to all. The winner's names will be sent to the Fitz and All In will transfer the cash to the Fitz account. Good luck! Pokermanager@allinpoker.com.

I hope so. It's the crowd that make it. If the first attempt is faulty in any way then let us know and we will make it better the next time. Give us a chance though - we do not have full control over the structure as we work according to the Prima tourney set up. Pokermanager@allinpoker.com.

How long is the rebuy period in the Fitz? 3 levels? 4?

Anyway, I like the idea of qualifying online for offline events locally, more likely then a WSOP seat (though no comparision of course!).

1 hour rebuys if I recall correctly - 4x15 min levels. 90 mins online is equivalent to about 5 hours live probably.

Edit: I know though that they just want more tickets, so that is ok as a start at least.

If you can create skin specific SnGs I think there could be a market for satellite's into the 100 etc etc games in the Fitz.

Just finished 12th in this. 110 runners and i dont think anybody took a rebuy. Maybe next time there should be a $12.60 buy-in to increase the prizepool and to keep it amongst the players with a serious intention of qualifying.

One last thing. When i was ko'd the blinds were 200/400 and i was given the option of re-buying $12.60 for 1000 chips. Im sure this was an oversight in the setup of the structure?.

I agree I can't see this structure really working online. There is no point in rebuying if nobody else is going to. In the Fitz people rebuy because there isn't much point in turning up to play only a few hands, but online you can just get into another game immediately. Also even the most broke of freeroll players in the Fitz have €10 to their name while you can't say the same about the people who populate online freerolls.

I have heard the Griffin club (now the Merrion) used to run a tournament along the same lines and changed it so that you paid £10 for your first entry but your first rebuy was free. God forbid I recommend you emulate the Merrion, but maybe something like this would work?

Well played and hard luck for bubbling. See you in it next time. He said it might become a weekly thing if there's interest, hope it does.

maybe just a shorter rebuy time, thats all i thought was a bit off with it, other than that was good.
