Canon versus Pelikan cartridges

I have a Canon printer and up to now I have mostly used the recommended Canon printer ink cartridges. I was recently informed by a sales person that I could also use the pelikan cartridges (which are half price). Is the quality reliable? I inserted a new cartridge (pelikan) recently and the printing was very bad. Is this…

Stick with Canon ink cartiridges but don't pay Canon ink cartridge prices instead get them refilled by professionals from Cartridge World for half the price of a new one. I get my Canon ink cartridges refilled regularly and can vouch for their service. Find your nearest store here.
