Who says alcohol was invloved? Could just be Brian's way of releasing some tension although I'm not even sure whats going on in that picture, some sort of random crowdsurfing maybe?

Actually, watch any State of Origin. Those guys teach every other sport how it's done.

BOD used to come down to the nite club in Wexford I worked in, well able to let the pints of Vodka redbull into him. He was right craic, barely able to stand by the end of the night and tried every woman in the place. these were the days before he was a household name.
Good to see him letting his hair down, it has been a tough season and he has acomplished alot. good on you Brian

in my mind BOD is currently Ireland greatest sportman (after Roy Keanes retirement that is !!) .. anyway as long as the booze and late nights don't effect his game , the guy is entitled to let his hair down .. going back to football , many Irish potentials , i.e Babb, Keith O'Neil, possibly Robbie Keane , let the high life come before there profession, and it showed in dire performances .. then someon like Paul McGrath battled alcoholism through his playing career , and i can never remember him having a poor game .
Sometimes a night out after a long season , releases tension , and hopefully it shows tomorrow.

Did any one read the folow on Herald article today?
Written by a gossip columnist , absolute tosh!
    What does she know:mad:
It enraged me when she (paraphrase) said Brian must have been dissapointed by is teams poor performance and referred to them getting ( cant remeber the exact word ) hammered or word of similar effect.
It was off the back of this picture page 3 crap!

In fairness, any paper that has to scrounge off AP to troll off its third paper of the day can go **** itself.

    I dunno, out sunning yourself?

Seriously though, he's arguably our best player, with the exception of possibly Paul O'Connell (who had a very poor tour by his standards, didn't see any pictures of him on the lock) and has been, as usual, the stand out player in the backs for Ireland, and in all for Leinster.

I think anyone who has a problem with him going out on the lock and enjoying himself at the end of the season needs their head checked.

And no doubt any of us here can, and do, do it whenever we like, I doubt he has been able to go out and really enjoy himself for months.

It's a non-story...let's not get like the English public here following the tabloids to keep tabs on our "celebraties"

David Beckham got a haircut *SHOCK* .... He's cheated on his wife *SHOCK* ...Brian O'Driscoll had a night out on the beer *SHOCK*

    Pffft
