    Hi,

Was wondering is there a way of keeping your sites address in the address bar without exposing your filing system e.g.

in the bar you will show http://www.xyz.com

and when you navigate through the site that is all you will ever see, not e.g.
    http://www.xyz.com/aboutus.htm

There are a number of reasons why this is a horribly bad idea, but anyway...

Either create the entire site using Flash, or use massive amounts of AJAX (ala Google).

or you could use a top/bottom frame but as Aidan said it's a bad idea. It doesn't really serve any purpose. Why do you want to do that?

I was thinking of doing it because I have a site sitting another site and dont want this info to be viewed...

Using Frames / Ajax / Flash to hide exactly what page you are on is not a good thing. A better option would be to use Mod Rewrite where you rewrite certain links to match your filesystem.

For example, you could rewrite the link http://www.mysite.com/about/ to point to http://www.mysite.com/aboutus.htm. The benefit of this is people can still bookmark your pages and you are still not exposing your filesystem. Read more about ModRewrite.
