Ok...i'm losing the plot tonight....but anyway...

    RIPON

    2:50

    Salviati

Is a 9 year old no but still retains some ability. Was involved in a blanket finish in Sandown earlier this month (0-80) and is clearly in good heart. Is on a decent mark for today's contest (0-75) and they've brought him on a 424 mile round trip...surely not for nothing. Should be a decent each way price too.

    5:10

    Court Of Appeal

Court of Appeal wasn't beaten far by horses that reoppose today Acuzio and Lake Wakitipu. Lake Wakitipu won that day but was getting a massive 19 pounds from Court of Appeal. The second, Acuzio was getting 10 pounds. This time however Lake whatyoumecallit is only getting 3 pounds and Acuzio 4 pounds. This should be enough to ensure that Court of Appeal beats those two. King's Crest is a big danger but hasn't won since 2002 - he must be losing the will to live.

    Also,

Each way tip for Strides of Fire in Tipperary Tonight 8pm. I'm after getting a pretty serious contact in the Eoin Doyle camp so hopefully there will be more good ones to come.

(Related subject, Eoin Doyle has kept the Fonze over in Lingfield for another run this weekend, after it's 9-2 win last saturday. Will probably be in Lingfield again on Saturday night...the last race)

The Fonze won for me big time in a double with Markason a few days back so have alot of love for that horse so will be keeping an eye out for that at Lingfield this weekend!

Salviati dwelt in the stalls and that put pay to his chances. I missed that last night...he does have a tendency to do that. Ran a good race regardless and I think he'll grab a win soon. (Apparently Ripon is a track that favours horses who run up with the pace, so if he's never gonna break properly we'll have to find another track)

A year or two ago, CAUSTIC WIT rattle off a 4 timer....he's on a roll again now and it's always worth following sprinters in form. Currently 9-4 fav for wolve's next race.

Nice call on Court of Appeal. Didnt manage to see it on time

Will get on for Tipp later :)

Aye...Court of appeal really had to win this according to the weights.

Disappointed about Salviati - the horse definitely has ability still but he just doesn't know how to get out of the stalls. Ran on well but was beaten at the start.

Remember that horse trouncing afrad a while ago? Didn't really do much after that promising run.

That's very interesting indeed, had some very useful sorts behind that day. He was screwed by the handicapper for it though, but has dropped 15lb since.

Give that man a big pat on the back, well done mate, a very nice win indeed.

And cheers for pointing out the form with Afrad, that made the difference between me having a token bet and having a decent bet.

No problem, it kind of upped my bet a bit too, you know I think a lot of Afrad.
