As of now, decent chance of being dancing this time tomorrow at the purpose of a fifty watt JCM800 2205 head. As nifty and all as this is, heads don't make noise without cabs. ;) I personally haven't a clue as to what I should be looking for in a cab. I'd like good bass response and a full sound. I'd appreciate information on what traits in a cab will evoke these sounds, and what affects teh sound. Also, any reccomendations of good cabs to compliment the JCM800's sound would be appreciated, preferably 2x12, for convenience, and preferably Marshall, for sake of matching a head and cab. I have a 4x12 on my watch list on eBay as well, but I'd prefer a 2x12 at a decent price were one to present itself.

Well if you like vintage 30's, Fame make a decent/well built 2x12 for a little over €300 iirc. If you want marshall, then you cant really go wrong with a marshall 1936 2x12 for stg£203 (~€290 at a guess) on GAK.co.uk. Theres one on adverts.ie atm for €375 but if you send him that link i bet he'd cut you a better deal. If it was me, i'd take the Fame over the Marshall, even if it doesnt match or looks crap, it has Vintage 30's!

    Oh and http://www.thomann.de/thoiw6_artikel-179559.html

Looks a bit gick, but then again you can't beat the price/specs although the Fame looks better built.

I have the fame cab, its quite nice. Its a 16ohm cab though so make sure the head has the appropriate output.

If you wire the speakers parallel you can get 4ohms.

    Hey man,

I use a marshall 1960 TV 4 x 12 cab with greenback speakers and if its a full sound you're after then I'd highly recommend one... anything loaded with greenbacks will seriously add to your sound IMO ;)

In the specs it says it has an unscrewable flap. Sounds like the worst kind of flap ever.
