    has anyone heard anything about jay-z playing in ireland sometime in the autumn??? i just caught the end of something about it on mtv news

    Jay-Z to play rare UK dates
    They're in September

    Jay-Z is planning to play five UK and Irish dates in September.

    The shows will be his first dates in two years and it will be first time the Def Jam CEO will play dates in Glasgow, Birmingham and Dublin.

    Jay-Z will play:

    Manchester MEN (September 21)
    Glasgow SECC (22)
    Birmingham NIA (23)
    London Wembley Arena (24)
    Dublin The Point (26)

    Tickets go on sale at 9am on June 23. For ticket availability go to NME.COM/Gigs.

    As previously reported, although the rapper "retired" in November 2003 he recently announced his return to performing with a one-off New York show on June 25.

    checked ticketmaster and mcd there about an hour ago and there was nothing about them, and there's nothin on the nme gigs section about tickets...i'm doubting this friday going onsale tbh....

    what guests do people think we'll see? any ROC artists got new albums out? Freeway's is out over the summer isn't it? leaked about a month ago anyway....
