    While many (most of Dublin actually including myself) made the most of the festivities over in Barcelona’s Sonar festival last weekend, D.U.I DJs Danny Metajer, Terry Lyons and Adrian Mc Entee really managed to hold their own among the remaining hardcore revellers down at Acii Disco. Many thanks to the lads for looking after proceedings, as I have heard nothing but good reports from our regulars down at the club.

    This Saturday Acii Disco welcomes more of Irelands finest Dan Sykes and Adrian de Cleir from top Limrick club night VIVA MUSIC. Dan Sykes & Adrian de Cleir from Vivamusic are no strangers to DJing together and play a broad selection of music ranging from Minimal Techno to Electro to House. The two met in 2003 and have been working together on producing music since. Adrain is currently focusing more on completing his debut studio album, while Dan is concentrating more on the running of Vivamusic.

    The duo been responsible for the running of First Fridays, a night of House&Techno in one room with a room for Hip Hop & Funk & Soul in The trinity rooms Limerick and have played host to guests including Hystereo, King Kapisi, Dj Mareck and a gamut of Local spinners. Both are also residents at the weekly House/Electro & Techno night VIVA that runs every Thursday night in The Greenrooms in Limerick.

    Both Sykes and De Cleir are also booked to play renowned super club Es Paradise in buzzing club island Ibiza this July and are busy in the studio perfecting a full live show which they hope to debut at the club.

    Support on the night comes from Dublin based DJ Jim Carr.
