Is It Okay For Your Solicitor To Suggest To You The Person To Do Your Snagging? Mine Suggested One And I Want To Know If Its Ok To Go Along With The Person He Suggested.

I dont see why not. Your solicitor has nothing to gain by suggesting a snagger. If he reccomends him he probabily has a good rep. Or else he is his brother or son or something.

Yeah i don't see why not, My dad does snagging and it's not uncommon for the client to go along with him. Just dont be following him around, pointing things out as that could get quite annoying. How much is this guy charging btw?

No problem I would have used the snagger suggested by the lawyer both times and it worked out well.

To save those that don't know (like myself):
    Wikipedia wrote:
Snagging is a term used in the construction industry in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Snagging is the production of a list of quality defects at the end of a build process/phase/stage (a "Snag List").

Typically, each defect listed will carry a description of the issue, who is responsible and a target date for rectification. Snagging is carried out by the Main Contractor during the build and the responsible parties are the sub-contractors. The client for the construction project will produce a final snag list at the end of the build.

Back-snagging is the term used for checking that the defects have been successfully rectified and if not the production of an up-dated snag list.
