this tournament is on tomorrow at 8.30pm BST

it is a $10 rebuy featuring:

Liam 'The Gentleman' Flood
Scott Gray
Ken Doherty
Padraig Parkinson
Donnacha O'Dea


Should be great fun and each player has a bounty on their head. Knock them all out (may require devine intervention) and you get $20k.

I suppose if they are getting a few bob from paddypower just for turning up, yeah....but seasoned pros like this in a $10 rebuy.

Assuming 100 people enter the tournament, I wonder what the chances are of knocking out x number of pros. Id say the chances of knocking out more than 2 would be in the 100,000's

Presumably this is after the rebuy period as they will keep rebuying until then...

I would LOVE to play in this but I have to go to a bloody hippy buddhist thing and see a man about a reincarnation.

but if someone who already has my number wants to play it for me I'll stump up 30 quid and take 50% of their winnings.

its whoever knocks them out of the tourney so, yeah, when the rebuys are finished.

and i agree it is astronomically unlikely that any one person will even knock out 3, its an added bonus and a bit of fun

PPP must have someone who has done the numbers, could you post it here or is it a trade secret?

no trade secret, we just honestly dont have numbers. if someone wins we are down 20k and didnt give it much thought beyond that. just wanted there to be an added extra.

I also played 20k....Q9 (BB) hit Q93 flop..get allin...he hits a 3 on river..has AA!!!!!!!!!!

How many rebuys were the pros allowed?

the pros played under the same rules as everyone else so they were allowed as many rebuys as they wanted until the end of the rebuy period. with everyone gunning for them i think they should have been allowed an extension

monsiuer gray was open pushing like a madman and everyone (meself included) was giving him far too much respect in that regard.
People were throwing their money at them in the earlier levels, i suppose just to say they went toe to toe with a pro....
