POP musicians wanted

Boards is full of threads where peple look for rock guitarists and drummers and all that. I am looking for something completely different. My vision is to work with a singer (m/f) and a guitarist (m/f) to form a project that is more pop than rock.

Influences would be everything from Roxy Music to the Lighthouse Family.

I want to create timeless but contemporary popsongs. It has been done before - and it will be done again.

If you are up for it and have some experience (and perhaps a demo) please drop me a mail.

I am a 20 year old female singer, dublin based - strong voice & good range. I dont have alot of experience but I am willing and able to learn quickly! Im very eager, influences are soul, pop, rock, rnb everything!

Hi TJ, Robyn here. Experienced musical theatre performer, have acted roles such as Satine (Moulin Rouge, Olympia Theatre Dublin, February 2006), Velma kelly (Chicago, Rupert Guiness Theatre, December 2003). Am a member of well-known gospel choir, have attended singing lessons for six years and have performing for twelve years. I sing pop, rock, acapella, soul, disco, opera... you name it! My look would more suit a pop group though- innocent! The only demo I have is quite an oldie- we're talking five years old- and as you can imagine, my voice and range have matured since then, but hey... a sample is a sample!

If your lokking for a drummer I'm more than happy to volunteer - 6 years gigging experience (I wish I'd counted properly but I'm easily into my 200th plus gig) Plenty of studio experience using both clicks and live recording. Currently Pearl and Paiste endorsed. Working with Leanne Harte www.leanneharte.com.
