Where to start?

I thought i'd be really nice tonight (and i got 10 minutes to do it)


Here is links to all the Production houses in Ireland in the yellow pages.

If you want to get into the industry and work your way up from the bottom (which has been a reoccuring question on this board) Then this is where you start.

Go to these places with your CV and if you have one a Showreal. GO IN PERSON to the actual place, and even if they dont have any work available, you will be put on file and might be contacted if work becomes available.

If you are really starting at the bottom (no courses in filmmaking or volunteer work) Offer yourself as a volunteer to these places (esp equipment hire) and only even think of looking for paid runner work until you have a year of experiance under your belt at least.
