Bring a laptop foreign... Customs problems?

    Im going to menorca on Friday, and im want to bring my lappy.........

    I dont want to put it in my suitcase incase they "dispose of it for security purposes"

    Is it ok to bring it as hand luggage?

    you shouldnt have any problems bringing it on as hand luggage, brought mine to lanzarote last year, alot of people, especially business people, would carry laptops on board with them.

    definately do not put it in your suitcase anyway, have you ever seen the way baggage gets handled? thatd kill a hard drive/crack an lcd no problem

    i had no problem bringing mying through either, u should be grand.
    dont 4get to bring an adaptor ( three pin to two pin ) for your power though !

    Yep you wont have any problems, I always bring it in my carry on baggage, have fun. :)

    You'll just have to take it out of it's bag to put it through the X-Ray machine.

    you shouldnt have any problems but my advice would be to take it out of it's box and try and get a laptopbag for it so that it doesnt look like you bought it new.

    just to be on the safe side :) obviously a brand new lappy, still sealed in box with price tag isn't gonna look good.

    hehe someohw I dont think they appreciate it. But yeah done it a few times with no problem, if u buying one just pop it in a bag and away u go.
