Lets pick their mission statement to pieces.

    Our Overall Objective

To provide an environment for all road users that maximises safety and provides for efficient use of our road network.

    Specific Objectives to-

    * be at the leading edge in the drive to champion the cause of road safety for all road users - yeah but you're the only organisation doing it, so thats a moot point
    * carry out research into the causes of road accidents and to develop measures and practices to improve safety on our roads, - its patently obvious why there are road accidents. Bad design / idiots.
    * provide an efficient and secure driver licensing system, - lot of work to do there
    * provide a fair and efficient driver testing system, - LOADS of work to do here
    * undertake public awareness and education campaigns to inform and improve driver behaviour, - no, spend that money in the above, then the problem cures itself without a raft of stupid TV ads
    * undertake and support enforcement measures to ensure compliance with legal requirements, - good luck, you'll be seen in court.
    * establish and monitor a standard for driving instruction, - See above. There'll be fights
    * liase with other organisation and bodies to maximise positive impact on road safety, - anyone think the word 'impact' is ironic?

    That was satisfying :D
