    I was going to buy a usb key off ebay, but i notice it comes with a driver on a disk. I am not all uptodate with this, so how does it work? Can I not just put it into my computer, put the files I want on it and then transfer them to another computer without installing the driver?

    Most of the time the only operating system that would need the driver would be Windows 98/98SE.

    Usually you can just plg n' play. The driver disk may be for extra features of the disk, such as encryption or password protection.
