I need to know what film this screen cap. is taken from. Clue: It's not Groundhog Day (which should be obvious anyway).

    Syriana
    Munich
    Gremlins

The only one that springs to mind is Exorcism of Emily Rose. Was'nt there something about the time demons "come out and play" although not sure if it was 1.46 am but it was some obscure time.

    1.46 AM: The Motion Picture?

It looks like a hotel room anyway... is that an ice bucket in the background?

Looks a bit more like a beer can to me.

The blue tag beside the clock might be a give-away for someone who has seen the film? (Again, I have no idea what film this is from.)

Here, I brought up the contrast and brightness on it.

Four Rooms? Oh.. and it looks like it's PM actually.

Oh.. Lost in Translation? It looks like Japanese on the can there.

I can't make out any of the detail you guys are talking about.

All I can see is what looks like the shoulder of a jacket or the arm of a chair on the right of the image.

But, it's not Fight Club, is it?

Ya little McGuyver, thats much better. I'd go along with Lost in Translation

If you don't mind me asking, why do you need to know what film it's from?

Well someone already guessed Lost In Translation a while ago and the organiser didn't say he was right (though he didn't say he was wrong either) where usually he would have by now.

If anyone has Lost In Translation on DVD maybe they would check it to see what the clock in Bill Murray's room looks like?

Edit: It's for a competition on a clothing website for a $25 gift token. Here's a link to the thread: http://www.threadless.com/profile/108206/passwird/blog/30791/Giving_away_some_25_Threadless_gcs#lastcomment

I can't win because I've already guessed once but if someone else finally gets this cap. right then tthe organiser will move on to the next cap. which I will have a chance of winning.

And if I adjust the image just a little bit more....

    raptor.jpg

You can clearly see that it's a scene from Jurasic Park.

Actually... thanks to knowing the year of release... I'm going say it's almost definitely The Cooler.

    2 more clues:
    • It was released in 2003.
    • It takes place in a "casino city", probably Vegas but maybe Atlantic City.

Sorry, it's not The Cooler, though you weren't the only one to think so.

A second cap. from the film has been given...

    Anyone?

Edit: Actually the organiser hasn't said it's not The Cooler, he just hasn't said that it is yet. So maybe you're right and he just hasn't awarded the prize yet.
