A .torrent file is nothing more than a description of the file to be downloaded. There is absolutely no way at all to create the file from the .torrent.

    I'm confused about your question.

Ok, Torrent is simply a small file that give the Client the information about what file you are downloading. E.G your downloading a TV show, the torrent file is only going to be a few kb where as the TV show will download as an MPG or something to that effect.

The .mpg will play in media player or what ever your using.

The torrent file is just used for connecting you to the tracker, and the tracker connects you to other people uploading and downloading that file. So you would need to be connected to the internet in order to download the file that you wanted.

Oh. I get it now. I just thought there was someway of converting the file. For example .wav to .mp3 Something like that. I always say where theres a will, theres a way.
What i want to do realy is be able to open that file without using software that connects to the net. I can download the torrents but i cant view the mp3s or play them. Am i confusing ye? :(

ha.. okay... I'll try and explain as simply as I can... The torrent file isn't the music file at all... it's just a set of instructions for your computer to find and download the music file.

Does that make sense? A standard Mp3 would be about 4-5mb in size, while a torrent file is probably only 30 or 40kb.

if you have a torrent file for an mp3 you will need software such as utorrent or bittornado to get the mp3 file
