My 5 year old nephew fell yesterday and his bottom incisor tooth is loose, will it reset by itself or does he need to see a dentist.

It may reset itself, but it would be no harm to see a dentist. If he was a little older, I would say not to worry (it'll fall out anyway), but seeing as he's five, head to the dentist. No emergency, but try to give him soft food until you do.

Best to see a dentist, but unless its painful or interfering with the bite its may be OK to leave alone. The roots would be short on that tooth at 5 years cause its going to fall out around 5-7 year anyway. Dont stress but best to see a dentist to make sure its not going to damage the permanent tooth that under the gum. Good luck
