    leaving all things dry upon the ground
    husk are strewn and blown around
    echos return a starving sounds
    got no reason to stay in town

    Reminds me a bit of a Thomas Hardy lyric, a bit like Lyonesse or something. I'm not saying you're as good :p but it's short, rhythmic, and lovely to read.
    Good werken imo.
