    Interactive Voice Technologies (IVT) was formed in 1996 and operates primarily in the Telecommunications sector. We are currently looking at new growth opportunities in international markets and are looking to expand our development team to create new products for launch worldwide.

    Job Summary
    We are currently looking for a software developer to work as part of our dedicated development team in Dublin. Responsibilities will include producing interactive communications solutions in the fields of WEB / WAP / SMS / IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and other media.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent programming skills and a good understanding of how to use them to deliver quality user-friendly software while working on their own or in small teams. Research and development in new areas of technology will often be required, so a keen interest in constantly adapting and developing your skill set will be very important.

    Suitable candidates will have demonstrable experience in C/C++, PHP, SQL and Linux. Familiarity with MySQL and Java will be considered advantageous, as will prior experience in the Telecommunications sector.

    Minimum Experience & Requirements
    2+ years experience and/or excellent portfolio and references.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Developing applications for use by the company and our clients
    - Maintaining and debugging of all new and existing code
    - Ongoing development of our core libraries
    - Quality assurance and testing of all software
    - Communicating with other members of our development team and product managers
    - Research and development of new technologies relating to the telecoms sector
