So what does everyone like to do when they're on a really long flight? Heading off to America on Wednesday and I'd like some suggestions! I have a 20GB mp3 player nearly full and I love my music so I think I'll just use that for most of the plane!

Read, watch the inflight entertainment, sleep, listen to MP3s, play PSP, people watch. Annoy the kids in the seats in front/behind...

There's plenty to keep you occupied on a flight to the states/asia/wherever!

    :D

Usually chew up the armrest in anticipation of that first lovely post-flight ciggie. Mmmmm post-flight ciggie.

I have one of those little IRiver 1Gb players and I usually pack it up with spoken word stuff. Music can get a little boring over a long period.

Of course, if you're flying First Class then you'll have no shortage of entertainment on your little in-flight console thingy.

Count down the miles left on your live display map for 8 hours.

Laptop and a couple of DVDs. Better than the inflight entertainment.

Bring a little roll-up mat and, as soon as the the seatbelt light goes off, kneel to face Mecca and start whacking your head off the aisle carpet?

Watch the lil TV in the seat in front of you, listen to MP3's, play with your PSP with wireless ON :p, eat, sleep, use the bathroom for 3 bodily functions :p and em strike up a conversation with random people sitting beside you....

Make sure to go on plenty of walks or your feet might swell up by the time you get off the plane. What airline are you flying with?

I tend to drink, read, watch a film on my psp and try to enter a vegetative state to pass the hours.

I tend to listen to music somethims watch the moive depens whats on. If you are flying with on of the american companies you can normally check their website to see what there showing. If its not good then i normally eat the meal then put on some music on my mp3 player and then go to sleep with the help of some sleeping pills i bought in canada.

be VERY careful with this one - it can easily backfire and lead to 6-7 hours of "Boring ****er beside you driving you mad"
