Guy Gowan (he who did the Photoshop sessions at Photo Fest) is running a one day course in Howth on the 18th of July. I have found him to be excellent in both his knowledge of photoshop and also how it applies to digital photography. At €75 for the full day it's a bit of a bargain to get access to someone so knowledgeable. Here are the details:

    Digital Imaging Workgroup

Manipulating digital images does not have to feel like the discipline of subjective magic tips and tricks that many teach and subscribe to.

Learn with Guy Gowan how to manipulate images using our tried and tested method and structure in one of our regular digital imaging workshops.

Although we use Adobe Photoshop as our preferred tool we approach retouching and manipulation with a methodology which flows as logical simple steps.

We will then show you how to create a powerful automated workflow which can cruise through multiple images leaving you with the image you have always wanted to create...

    14:00 - 15:15 Black and White

    15:45 - 17:00 Q&A open forum

This looks pretty interesting but I am not sure if I can take a day off work to go to it. Anyone else going to head along ?

Wouldn't mind heading along, except the trip to Dublin would be an awful pain.
