    I have the strangest desire to build my own amp! I don't have any electrical experience but I am good enough with my hands and I reckon I could get the hang of a solder without too much trouble.

    I was looking here http://www.ampmaker.com/index.asp

    They supply the full kit with all the schematics etc. Can it really be that difficult. I would have the help of a leccy prior to plugging it in :D to have them check it at various stages.

    Anyone done this before?
