I currently have seagulls nesting behind my chimney. My chimney is like the one in the picture above.
Anytime I come out of the house they swoop down to attack myself and my girlfriend. As far as I know there is baby seagulls there aswell. They also sh*t everywhere when thye come down to attack.

Is there anyway of removing them at all? Or do I have to wait until they are gone from the roof and put up a cage to prevent nesting in the future?

    Thanks

I used to live in Balbriggan and seagulls nested on most of the houses on my road, theyll just swoop at you to intimidate you but they wont actually do any harm, and they get less aggressive in time, just wait it out.
And dont try anything while there are young on the roof.

teh baby seagulls have flown away from my roof and are now sitting on other roofs in my estate. The next is still behind my chimney. The mother is also still flying around.

We are not being attacked anymore but is it advisable to get up onto the roof now to remove the nest and place a cage behind the chimney to prevent them from nesting next year, or should I wait a week or 2.

    Thanks
