Hey remember the United bars? My mam used to put them in my lunchbox every day without fail until the Panky bars came into fashion,

Do they make them United bars any more (we're talking 15 20 years ago here)

they had a lovely crunchie bit and loads of chocolate and in the shape of a club milk.

I loved the Telex bars, they tasted a bit weird, but their advertising was futuristic. Can't remember exactly what it was, but I was impressed enough as a 5 year old to buy them :)

They had a black wrapper with the name in red, I think. They were wafery with maybe dark chocolate - hence the "weird" taste. Yeah, the ads had people in a space station or something! I'd say they were no longer available by the mid-80s.

United chant was 'Chocolate ......????? and candy crisp, horray!'

    They were magic.

Telex bars were lovely - I always felt like it was eating a remote control (becuase of the wrapping).
