final 20 of 100k on prima.

    BLinds are 6k/12k.

i have 119k in 10th position, average stack is 135k.

    $25k for first. 770 for 20th to 11th.

CL is on BB when it is my button. he has 360k.

what is his callking range. he is an ABC player.. has not been out of line and not seem him mae any strange calls. what is my pushing range? i have a very tight aggro image.

I imagine any PP higher than 88, AK, AQ maybe AJ

As for your pushing range, given the stack sizes I imagine BB would expect you to be pushing with pretty much the above plus all the lower PP's and AT KQ KJ.

    Edit: good luck

Ive gotten to that stage shortstacked deep into a big guaranteed tournament and allways seem to exit making a stupid push with a marginal hand tryong to accumulate chips I have come to thinking that you should really look for half a hand before pushing.

Yeah - the blinds were so high 8k 16k. I called all in with AK and doubled to 170k, then raised to 60k on the button with 88. CL re-raised to 130k from SB. I called (thinking I was all-in). Flop QJx. He checked and I knew instantly he had hit.. He pushed on the turn and I had to call of my extra 40k gettting 8/1.There was a chance he had 77 or AK.. anyway, he had AQ. Maybe I can drop 88 there but I wasn't too interested having 2 BBs next orbit.

The most important thing at that stage is to get your chips in first!

Your pushing range: A definate 66+, A9+, KT+. A not-so-definate suited connector push: 67, 78, 89, etc, weak Ace, K9+, etc; and the usual "live" cards... tbh, your range is fairly wide, ocallagh (and that's a reflection on playing a good game). His range should be: AT+, 77+,KJ+,..., after that, he has to be worried that he's in bad shape, unless you've been making a lot of moves.

I don't think there are many situations where it is right to push say 67s, but not Q4o. Yes the hand looks pretty and has several ways to improve, but it doesn't do much better if at all against your opponent's range.

Are there any running antes? If so I probably push any two, otherwise I would hope for half a hand at least. But I am pushing a very wide range here.

I agree you are getting called by something like 88+ AJ+, maybe not AJ if your image really is tight. Given what you said about your image and what you think of him, I don't think you usually get looked up by KJ/KQ/A2.

Fair enough, good point. I just have a bit of a phobia of pushing with hands that I think could be dominated if called, but range-wise what you're saying is true.

77 dominates 67 much more than it dominates Q4 ... as does 88/99/TT/JJ.
    A7 and so forth.

And Q4 performs better Vs AJ/AT and so forth.
