There's this guy who said he really likes me and wants to see me. I was with him the other night and I said I'd see him again and gave him my number and I've been texting him since. The thing is, I dont know if I like him in THAT way. He's a really nice guy but basically I don't know if I'm physically attracted to him.

My question is, should I go out with him anyway and just see what happens, because you never know, or should I just tell him I'd rather be friends? ...I'm so confused, what would anyone else do in the same situation?

Go out on a date and snogg him and if it doesn't do it for you then it doesn't not exactly rocket science.
Don't lead him on if you are unsure then say no.

If your not attracted to him and don’t fancy him, you would be best to tell him and be honest from the start. If you go on a date you are only leading him on and you will find yourself in an awkward situation then. I think you be honest from the start and should tell you that your not attracted to him, but would like to remain friends and see how things go, you may not be attracted to him now, but in time you could find yourself falling for him. I think he may respect you more for being honest and upfront, I know I would :)

    Hi Guys!

just joined up the other day!...I was in that situation a couple of years age, a guy asked me out and I wasn't attracted to him at all, but we went out as friends and had a really great time, and after a while I did become attracted to him and we ended up going out for a few years!!..If you get on well with him and have fun, then why not take a chance and see what happens!..what have you got to loose?

Contradictory advice IMO. As a bloke, I'd say if you snog him, you're leading him on.

You could always say you want to be friends, then go out and do something as friends. If you develop an attraction to him over time, you can let him know later.

    Don't lead him on

I think they're mutually exclusive to be honest...

if you're not interested, tell him that straight off, otherwise you're leading him on if you go out with him and kiss him or whatever...

This is exactly what I did in a similar situation (with a girl tho, I stress) and tbh it's probably the best course of action. I wasn't sure til I snogged the girl in question, and imo I couldn't have been certain either way without doing so...

    Physical attraction develops.
Go out with him once, you've nothing to lose.
And who knows, it might be the start of something.

I'd probably go on another date, and if I still felt nothing, use that occasion to say goodbye. Honesty is the best policy in regard to your feelings and his.
