Problem with Eircom BB (Cnet Adapter cannot find Netopia router)

I'm trying to set up wireless eircom broadband on a Dell. I've put in a wireless Cnet Adapter and eircom have provided a netopia router.

The eircom router as per the picture on the top of this page:

I swear I've done everything right, a light comes on the router and the adapter light blinks the whole time but nothing shows up on the software.

I've uninstalled McAffee Personal Firewall Plus and diabled windows firewall. I'm lost for ideas at this point.

Can anyone shed some light on what could be wrong?

nevermind, I got it workin.

don't know how because I musta toggled about a hundred different options.

In the end I am just using the windows wireless connection utility and have set the default channel on netopia to 1. Dunno if that's what did it but it is working.
