As its a multiroom subscription you have, it won't work, as its tied to the phoneline of your home. If it is turned on outside of your London home, it might work for a few days, but then it will try to "phone home", and not work.

Plus, like any Sky subscription, premium subscription channels wont work in another Sky box, the card must be married to it for them to be seen.

All the boxes are not connected to the phone line i only got the sky world package and not subscribed to any premium channels.

Sky World has Sky Sports 1, 2, Sky Movies 1, 2

    all premium channels
multi room requires a phone line connection to all boxes. maybe you will be lucky in that Sky wont get onto you about it but it is a term of the contract

He means that unless you cancel your mirror sub, then you will be charged a double sub when you get to Ireland as the box wont be able to phone home.

Your UK card without phoneline will work for C4 on any Irish Digibox. Even if you cancelled your account the card would still work in UK or Irish box. C4 is Free To View, so works on all UK cards (subscribed or not) and on no ROI cards. It is not a premium channel so not "locked"/married to your box.

It takes about 2 months for Sky to complain about a mirror sub. How long is youor visit?

Just to clarify that.... Sky Sports and Movies are classed as Premium Channels by Sky. You have Sky World, so therefore, you have premium channels; Sky Sports 1 & 2, Sky Movies 1 & 2. Those premium channels are only viewable on the box which is married to the card.
There are stand alone subscription channels (Asian channels, Racing UK etc), they are not what Sky term Premium Channels, which might have confused you.

Does the family package is still viewable to the UK card in a ROI box?
My family in Ireland don't have there phoneline connected. :)
And one of them got the Movie package one of them have the world package??? maybe?

What was classed as old Family Pack channels can be viewed using that card on another box, but not Sky Movies or Sky Sports.
