Creative repair

    I have a 60GB Creative Nomad Zen Xtra that's not in the best of health. It's my second one, having fought a hard battle to have my previous 40GB model replaced after it packed up. Anyway, this 60GB froze a while back and I contacted their customer support people. After three or four emails though, my patience with their limited intelligence and poor command of the English language wore thin and I just didn't have the will to pursue a repair/replacement.

    So I'm wondering: does anyone know of any sort of down-an-alley-off-Moore-St-wink-wink-nudge-nudge-where's-me-screwdriver operation that can tinker about with these things and maybe make them work again? You know, the sort of places that unlock phones and that sort of thing? I'm willing to risk it going completely pear-shaped because I've nothing to lose really. At the moment, all I've got is (as I remember seeing very frequently on Creative forums) a really expensive paperweight.

    When it works, it's so lovely though. I'm lost without it. (Not that I'd touch Creative with a bargepole ever again).

    Any ideas?
