When I connect my shuffle to a pc I get an error message "I/o error" What can I do. I can't get into it to reset it? Is it fooked?

Most problems I've seen re: the shuffle it simple can't transfer music. Its seen by the PC you just can't copy anything to it. Mine is stuck in that mode. Seems to be a common problem. Your problems sounds a little different though.
