Keyboard characters mixed up

    hey,

    I just got a new laptop but the @ and " characters are mixed up i.e. when i press @ on the keyboard i get the " symbol. How do i go about changing this around? Also, on my old laptop i could get the Euro symbol by pressing ctrl + alt + 4 nut it aint workin on this. Any ideas?

    control panel > regional options> input locales > english - ireland

    thats for win 2000, should be similar for xp

    Hi there, that is just regional settings on your keyboard, go to control panel, and input locale settings to english ( ireland ), also for the euro symbol it os faster just to press "AltGR" button and 4
