Quick Excel Question

    I've got an excel sheet with lots of basic formulas in it. Column A has the "buy prices" of a product, and the two next colums B & C do a simple multiplication to change curreny, and then to add a margin.

    I want to convert the results in colums B & C to just plain numbers without the formulas. Currently I just type over it, but there are hundreds of them there has to be a more simple resolution.

    I hope I have explained it well enough, can anyone tell me how to achieve this?

    Highlight the cells/columns you want to convert.

    EDIT -> COPY

    EDIT -> PASTE SPECIAL -> PASTE values (in your case)

    Is it something like you have a value in cell A2, B2 and C2, where the value in C2 is the product of A2 and B2 and you want it to multiply A3,B3 and put it in C3, A4,B4 in C4 etc...?

    If it is you can just put the formula in C2 to multiply A2,B2 and then double click on the little black dot in the bottom right corner of C2 and it'll populate C3 with A3,B3, C4 with A4,B4 etc...

    Hope that's what you meant :)

    Edit: No wait that's not what you meant... try selecting all of column C and then right click any of them and click format... then change the type to value... don't have Excel here at the moment but use it a lot in work and that tends to be what I need to do...

    Or if there's that little green corner in the top left then click ont hat for one of htem and change it to number or value...
