24 Season 3 on DVD

Hi all,

Not a great fan of the TV schedule so have avoided 24 until it came to DVD so I can watch back to back.

Anyhow, just started Season 3 on DVD last week and a lot of lip synch issues.
Am wondering am I the only one?

Didn't want to search the boards in case I see some spolier stuff.

Is it your TV?, ie is it an LCD?

Ive never noticed lipsync issues when I watched the dvd.

I noticed the same thing, but it dodn't ruin it for me! It does last for long. All i remember is a scene with michelle that was pretty bad!

i always notice the sync being out when i watch dvds on laptop and pause it. after i press play again it's ouf of sync. before i pressed pause it was fine.
This happens with all dvds not just 24

Is the Season 3 dvd good? I hear that Season 4 wasn't any good.Too complicated etc.

Season 3 was good, but season 4 was the worst.

I'm on the fourth disc of season 3 its so good so far, Nina Meyers, Chase, Chloe, Hector and Amador.

Season 3 is so good in that it doesn't make me all tense and scared which I didn't like, with season 3, I can relax and enjoy the brilliant action.

I had no sync problems at all. I got mine in the Season 1-4 boxset however.

My main concern with 24 dvd's are the pictures of an ep they show before you press play. Fine have a picture, but in S3 I was annoyed with

A picture of Nina Myers before she appeared, was that neccessary? I had no idea she was about to re-appear, and on the 5th disc I think it was, a gun pointed to Chappelles head :rolleyes:

I'm most of the way through season 3 - and I must say - it's fantastic.
It's way better than most movies - lucky for me I'm watching it on a home cinema system with a 100inch screen and cool surround sound ;-)

I got Season 4 as I wanted to catch up with what had happened as I was a bit lost with the new pres in season 5 which is turning out to be excellent.

Season 3 had problems chleo and the baby story was just stupid IMO.

I am getting to like chleo, now after 3 season.

Season One DVD seem far better produced then Season 4. The User Guide on season one was very well done with the action in the background relating to each disk, season 4 however was horrible no effort put into it.

I saw 24 boxsets 1, 2, 3, 4 going for 34 euro in extravision. Should I get Season 2 and 3?

The Season 2 DVDs are well produced, and the extra "On the Button" feature on the bonus disk is a very nice addition.

Haven't got Season 3 yet, but if you still liked the season (all flaws aside) then why not?

All of the DVDs are very well presented. The extras are great! And Xtravison has another fiver off, so they're all 30 euro each! Definately worth it!

Other Question about S03, i didnt get this.

How would Nina be able to verifie that the Cordilla virus was genuine, without a sample of it? If she had a sample, couldnt she just duplicate it????

Also, jus watched S03 2am - 3am
