    Just wondering, I have taken out the 10G Seagate HD from my xbox and want to use it in my Pc to store pc files/folders on it. I have tried a few lowlevel progys but none seem to be able to do the job.I asumed because I could stick in a bigger HD into my xbox I could use the old one in my pc?IF so can anyone recommend a progy they have used themselves

    I think they have to be unlocked first before can be used in a pc

    Hard drive needs to be unlocked.

    This can be done from a modded xbox, not sure if it can be done through windows

    HDD Unlock will do it through Windows they are/were offering the program free very recently I don't know if the offer is still going.

    Other method of course is to do it through the Xbox any of those auto installer CD images floating around the net like Slayers will have the unlock feature on them.
