I can't wait for Wimbledon! Is anyone else going to be watching it? Who are your favourites to win? My money is on Roddick anyway, and maybe Sharapova

Yeah always an highlight of the summer, unfortunately I am doing work experience in an office job this year so can't go and can't watch much of it :(
As for tips, highly original here and say wait for it Roger Federer to win the men's, don't think Nadal can stop him on this surface. As for the women's hmmn not so sure, Henin is on form but she has neevr gone well here from memory so maybe Sharapova and maybe venus if she gets some form

I used to like Wimbledon but I find it the least enjoyable of the Grand Slams now primarily due to the surface and technology.
The rallies are just too short and a powerful serve is a huge weapon.
I started playing on grass courts lately and the difference between them and hardcourts is immense.
The ball just shoots up quickly and low and its hard to get a rally going.
The mens draw looks good though .

Used to find Wimbeldon boring in the days of Sampras and the early 2000's, but I've started to enjoy it again now. Federer is always fun to watch.

Don't know much about the women's game. Can't really comment on who might win that.

Always safe to bet on Federer on this surface. Really can't see Roddick take it, though I know he'd dearly love it. Probably be those two in the final again though (are they on opposite halves of the draw - I haven't seen it yet?)

I think itll be Federer and Roddick in the final but Federer will win. Dunno bout the womans game though its very unpredictable

    Are the draws up already??

Ill go for Federer (although he has a touygh draw) and Clijsters

Id like to see Henman go far if not win too, but is he to play Federer in round two? It likes like that from the draw on bbc.co.uk

OP: Money still on Roddick? :p

Lovely match played between himself and Murray today, I was so impressed at how Murray managed to dismantle probably the second best player on grass (after Federer, naturally), the World No.3 no less, in straight sets. He's getting better and better this tournament. Hats off to the young lad!

Fair play to Murray, an brilliant match, he had some fantastic shots!! Hope he keeps his ipod on and doesn't pay any attention to the hype of sue barker and other BBC Wimbledon hacks.

God, they have him in the final against Federer already, don't they? It's crazy. He's got into the second week, let him relax.. got Baghdatis next, hasn't he? Might not have Roddick's style on grass, but he's a tough player, it won't be easy for Murray. I'd love Murray to win though, his shot selection looked really good today, he made a world class player look ordinary, no mean feat. Fair dues!

Yeah was a great match, tbh I thought he looked well cabbaged at the end so hope he rests up and does the business again on Monday. Likeable chap and hope he does it for SCOTLAND not England LOL :D

Likeable in how he tells the media where to go alright.. it's excellent! :D

He did look rather tired, a rest day is a good thing to have.. fingers crossed..

Don't think he'd ever claim a win as being anything other than Scottish, thankfully. Not that I mind the English, but still!!

I'm so glad Murray got beaten today. I can't believe he beat Roddick! I suppose I'll have to support Nadal now or Hewitt
