Was flicking through a couple of classic car mags today and noticed that Classics Monthly (I think?) has a 3-4 page on an Irish-registered ('ZV' reg) Fiat 131 Abarth.

It seems to be a rare model with a rallying pedigree.

Another Fiat - with Irish 'RI' reg - is also pictured in the article.

First time I have seen a feature article (in a UK mag) about an Irish-reg car!

There was a two pager in practical classic on the Ring of Kerry run had a pick and a paragraph of my Erskine. I know the guy that has the Fiat 131 Abarth, he also has a lot of other very rare classics, puts my collection to shame :( very nice guy though.

For years the english magazines ignored Ireland, now that Ireland has its own magazine they are starting to shake up a bit. Competion is spice of life. Also check out issue 2 of Irish Vintage Scene feature on Fiat 850 owned by blue850 (board member)
