Can anyone recommend a storage device that includes a CF slot, a decent screen and at least 20gb of storage. Viewing RAW files would be great but not essential.

Am thinking of the Creative Zen Vision. Anyone got one?

It uses a TI system-on-chip based on the ARM7 processor, so I doubt it, probably some kind of Linux port. Maybe there's some disk space reserved for internal use by the OS, temp files etc.?

Having a flick through my shots on a bigger screen.
Copying a card immediately in case of a corruption or loss of cards
Extra storage on holidays [when away from a PC/Internet connection]
Backing up photos from one PC to another.
Always having a copy of my portfolio and stock photographs with me. :D

There's also the Jobo GigaVu Evolution, which is a head to head competitor for the Epson, and which sounds good.

That said, I've played with a friends Epson and the screen on that is really nice!

All the better than there's a hack available to swap out the standard drive on a P2000 and put in a much larger one. I'd get one, if I could justify it. My PD70X works perfectly for now.

The GigiVu looks great but apparently it was pulled before shipping for some sort of firmware/software upgrade.

Anybody. I, like a lot of people, will be going on a holiday this year. If I want to shot in RAW, my 1Gb card will get full pretty quickly. That's 20 times I'm able to transfer the photos from the card to the backup device.
It would save having to drag a laptop with me, just for that purpose.

As it happens, I'm not going to pay £300 for the pleasure, some I'm just going to have to settle with my MacBook Pro...which I can live with :)

/edit - but Finoblad said it better :)

Finoblad, I personally think it's top quality. I've seen it view RAW files in slide show straight after a shoot and the quality is excellent. Conn's Cameras have them, you should definitely go in and ask them to show you it in action. It's gone down in price alot in the last couple of months and no doubt it will in future. I'd keep it in mind.
