    Hi,

Got MCE 2005 installed with latest ATI drivers for my card, sitting beside a PVR-150 and i get these annoying green dots all over the video.

Have tried various drivers, but same story.

    Anyone ever have something similar.

Either the card is boned, or its overheating, but I don't think its that, when I uninstall the drivers and use the default driver in MCE there are no green dots(but its obviously poor performance)

    PC is a Shuttle SN45g (nforce2)

Is it on all video, even the desktop?

Could the PSU be on the way out?

    Try these:

Reseat the GPU fan with fresh thermal paste, ensure the fan is working as the standard ones fail regularly

Install ATI tool, underclock RAM and GPU by 20% and run the overclocking wizard.

Its a passive heat sink. appears on video, and on the common tasks sidebar, but nowhere else, and it appears full screen in the green button UI.

I'll grab the ATI tool and see what I can do.
