Broken usb port,where do i get it repaired if at all??

    I have an Inspiron 6000 and one of the usb ports is broken (bit of it was left in printer connection).
    Can it be repaired? any idea where and at what cost?
    Need laptop for work and cannot be without for long..........
    Help please......

    Buy a USB hub and run it off a working port? Not expensive - some of the pound shops have them for €2!

    Or you could buy a PCMCIA card that will give you extra ports.
