Cheapest place for number plates?

    Where is the cheapest place either online or in Ireland to get number plates printed. Im bringing a car back from the uk next thurs,so may need some soon!

    Any motorfactors, most main dealers, €20 ish is all they'll charge...the choice is endless tbh.

    try and get plastic number plates, the centres of 9's and 0's tend to fall out of front plates if they get bent.

    Windsor Garages (Nissan Dealer) make up proper embossed plates for €20.
    They are the best plates for any vehicle!

    (Then centres only fall out of cheap 'pressed' plates - not embossed plates).

    A lot of garages use the D&S Roe Rennicks plates with stick on reflective backing, these seem to be the best ones. (It's a bit sad that I know this)

    The pic shows the cheap 'pressed' plates that fall apart.
    This doesn't happen with 'embossed' plates as they are made from a single sheet of metal, not two pieces like the 'crap plate' below.

    also the black writing on those pressed plates wears off after a while
