    going unreg for this one.

    ok, so summers here, great.

the only problem is how can the girlfriend and i spend more time together?

I only work 2-3 nights at the weekend(bar trade) which leaves with the full week with nothing to do. I would love to spend more time with herself but we both live at home and shes not 18 yet so we cant go to a pub or club.

just thinking maybe someone here would have an idea on what to do?

    thanks in advance,

There are a hole range of things you can do,
There is all the art galleries and museums and parks and gardens all over the city.
Pack a picnic, or grab somthing on the way and chilli out and spend time togheter.
The weather is good and most places are open later.

Or get out og dublin on a day trip a return ticket for a day is not that much and plan thing to do when you get there.

What interests do you both share? Pursue them. Biking, hiking, boating, sailing, swimming, surfing, dancing, etc., etc.

The likes of PowerscourtWaterfall in Enniskerry has fabulous walks and picnic areas for spending some good times together. Early bird menus save on costs of meals and most restaurants do them. What does she like to do??

Forget pubs, go somewhere outdoors, after all it is the summer. Places outdoors are also often free.

Coasts are nice. Look out for blue flags and you can go for a swim which is fun. Here is a list of blue flag beaches in Ireland. http://www.antaisce.org/images/BlueFlagMap.pdf

    What are her interests?

Try a few moonlight walks up/down either DunLoaghaire/Howth piers. Very romantic when there's a moon out and loads of little intimate places to eat/drink.

There's always the auld Zoo, which can be fun in a post-modern, ironic way.
