I am currently buying a house in the swords area of dublin. i am wondering who would be the best to get cable off. would it be sky or chorus. has any one had any experience with the new freesat from sky. i saw it in D.I.D last week. does it really work.

for a start Sky isn't cable

Sky is fine if you would like multi channel tv without Channel 4

freesat works just fine, with a FTV card you will get Channel 4 and five along with all ITV's and BBC's. see the satellite board for more
