I have to get a PSP as a present, could anyone suggest the cheapest location to pick one up? Bricks and mortar prefferably.

Cheapest I've found is Komplett, for the Base Pack they want €229, plus shipping.

Shops, now let me see... Are they the places that expect you to pay whatever they demand and count on you not having tried to find it cheaper elsewhere?
Hmmmm... I wonder how I might find out if anyone know's where to find items cheaper than my local shop.

I was in Smiths in Airside, Swords yesterday, and the cheapest they had was 254.99. The service was terrible too, 4 assistants standing around the phone chatting away, and one poor sod trying to deal with the line of customers. I waited a minute, then asked the chatting quartet about PSP prices. They gave me daggers, and one handed me a sheet of PSP prices like it was toxic...

So then yankees, seeing as you know of a shop that sells the PSP for 209.99, would you mind passing the info on?

Or anyone else, with a more helpful attitude know where the PSP prices are low?

You could try sendit.com - base pack 139.99 sterling - free delivery
    http://www.sendit.com/game/item/6000000003140

    This is approx 205 euro.

play.com have it too for 149.99 sterling though I'm not sure they deliver H/W to Eire.

amazon.co.uk also have it for 145.99 but you need to pay for delivery and I'm not sure they're delivering either cos of the WEE environmental charge.

Bear in mind the base pack does not have the headphones, strap, pouch, 32mb memory card, cleaning cloth.

The PSP is 209 in shops everywhere Dancin - BUT- that is a base pack that does not come with any sort of a card.

Still though, its a fair deal, seeing as you could pick up a 32mb pro duo for a tenner second hand.

Depends on if you need a pro duo for simply storing save games or you want to listen to music, watch movies, etc...

This seems to be a good price for the memory stick

Went away for a world cup game last w/end and a friend picked up a PSP in germany for 195 Euro. I don't see why it should be more expensive here. Thats Rip-off Ireland I suppose!
