    WRITERS: A one-man performance about some of Ireland’s most famous writers, including Beckett, Joyce, Wilde, Shaw, Yeats and Heaney will take place in the Dublin Writers Museum 18 Parnell Square on every Sunday in June.     GALLERY: At 10.30am on Tuesday, June 13, Dr Anthony Cronin will present his lecture 'Beckett and Joyce' in the lecture theatre of the National Gallery of Ireland, Merrion Square. At 11am on Friday, June 16, Jim O'Callaghan will lead a 'Joycean Tour' - assemble in the Shaw Room. On Saturday, June 17, Alex Davis will lead the 'Tour of the Week' at 3pm. At 3pm on Sunday, June 18, Dr Nicholas Allen will present his lecture 'Beckett and the Culture Milieu of Dublin in the 1930s' while on Tuesday, June 20, Professor Christopher Murray will present the 10.30am lecture on 'Beckett and the Mid-Century Literary Landscape of Dublin.'

    WRITERS: The Donnycarney Community and Youth Centre is hosting a weekly writers’ group in the library. The group is ideal for people who prefer writing in a small group situation and want to share their thoughts and ideas. The group is facilitated by Elizabeth O’Carroll on Mondays from 10.30am-1pm.
