I had to do a reinstall on a second hard drive. I was running Mozilla Firefox originally and installed a new copy on the new windows install. I want to lift the bookmarks I had on the old install (on other hard drive) and place them in the new firefox install on new system drive. How do I do this?

Open Mozilla on your old drive. Go to Bookmarks/Manage Bookmarks, Export.
This will export them as a htm file
    Save this file.

You can import this into your new copy of Mozilla.
    Bookmarks/Manage Bookmarks, Import.

You can also search for a file on old PC called bookmarks.html

Copy to same location on new PC.

Its a handy file to include in your backups also

Assuming 2k or XP, browse to DRIVE:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\STRING.default (where DRIVE is the old drive, USER is your username and STRING is a bunch of numbers and letters), copy the file bookmarks.html, and move it to a similar location on the new drive.

    Alternatively, Google Browser Sync.
